Congratulations to the writers who took part in a Reading this week, in the beautiful setting of the Chapel Royale, Dublin Castle. The group worked with Caoimhe Creed over the past four months and presented a selection of fiction, non-fiction and song. It was a fantastic evening!
A screening was held in Bow Street on Friday 3rd July 2015 of seven shorts films scripted by writers from Fighting Words. The group met with the teenage actors and directors in Bow Street and wrote short scenes for the cast, which were then filmed and edited. Congratulations to all who took part in this great collaboration!
The Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield hosted a screening of the short animation film 'The Story shall be revealed in the Movie" on Saturday, 6th June 2015. This film was made by children at Fighting Words with our friends from Brown Bag Films. It was brilliant to see the final film on the big screen!

I think we’ll be hearing from many of these new voices again and again and again.” Kevin Barry from the introduction to the anthology.
Brain Storms was launched at CBC Monkstown Park, Dún Laoghaire on Monday 18th May 2015.
