No Time For Monkey Business

St Fiachra’s Senior National School, Beaumont, 6th Class, 5 February 2018

Once there was a gangster monkey named T-Bone and he was eating bananas. Suddenly, he heard a knock on the door.

Without waiting, the door was kicked down by the guards.

They had been tipped off about T-Bone stealing bananas by the security guards.

T-Bone threw bananas at them. Then he grabbed his tricycle and cycled away.

He met up with his friend, a giant bug called Bartholomew, in the park.

T-Bone and Bartholomew had become friends on Facebook but had never met face to face.

“Whoa! I didn’t expect you to be so tall!” said T-Bone.

Bartholomew tried to get on the tricycle but he started to wobble. Then he didn’t see the banana on the road and he slipped on it.

T-Bone and Bartholomew could see the group of security guards in miniature cars following them. They were nearly like tiny clown cars.

They ditched the tricycle and ran all the way to Moscow.

The Russian police instantly stopped them because they’d become international criminals for stealing bananas.

The Russian police knew it was them because of the massive WANTED signs that were everywhere.

Quickly, T-Bone showed the Russian police a funny video to distract them so that he and Bartholomew could sneak past.

The Russian police saw the funny video, started laughing, and then said, “It’s no time for monkey business…”
