Sam the Night Vision Dog

Scoil Mhuire, Shankill, 3rd class, 11 April 2019

Once upon a time there was a dog called Sam.

She was not an ordinary dog; she had a magical ability – night-vision!

Sam was sitting on the wall of her house. Suddenly, she fell off when she saw her owner carrying a bag of chips.

She ran off to the park to meet Leonard the duck. Sam told Leonard the duck her greatest wish,

“I wish I could have an ever-lasting bone, because I love to eat everything, except for chips.

I’m afraid of chips, because the last time I saw them, they tried to eat me instead of the other way around!”

“Do you want me to help you find the ever-lasting bone? Also, I’ll eat those evil chips for you, to help you get over your fears”

Sam and Leonard got a taxi back to her house.

The taxi driver was a turtle named Tiny.

It took ages to get to her house. It was the middle of the night when they finally returned.

The chips were waiting for them and when the taxi pulled up, he squished some of them!

When Sam and Leonard went into the back garden the chips were waiting for them with axes and fire…
