GLOBAL WRITING LOCKDOWN

Let’s make a deal! When the current Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, we will go to shows, eat in restaurants, play sport, have parties and give granny a big kiss.

But until then: wash your hands, cough into your sleeve, maintain social distancing and make a book with us!

We Want Your Stories! Send Your Creative Writing to Fighting Words

During this time when we might find ourselves with more time,  it's time for more stories! Fighting Words is inviting children and young people to write and share their writing with us.Primary School Age Writers (Age 6-12): The Fighting Words Story-Starter

Scríbhneoirí Bunscoile (Aois 6-12): 'Story-Starter' Fighting Words

We have invented the Story-Starter, which we hope will spark your imagination and help you get started on a story.  You can change anything you want in the story - you don't have to include all the ideas generated in the Story-Starter.

Office Closed But We Are Open

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in line with Government guidelines, the offices of Fighting Words will be closed until further notice. All programmes in all centres and partner organisation locations are suspended for the time being.

We are offering many new online programmes and you can still contact our staff in the usual way.
