Yes, We Still Drink Coffee! Stories of Women Human Rights Defenders launched at the Dublin Book Festival

Noline Blackwell launched the recent Fighting Words and Front Line Defenders publication Yes, We Still Drink Coffee! at a sold out event at the Dublin Book Festival. The event also included readings by some of the writers involved in the publication.

‘Reading these remarkable essays is a jolt to the conscience. The women interviewed for this collection have chosen activism over apathy. They live with threats and fear, and confront them with courage. They are committed to highlighting injustices, campaigning for changes, often at great personal risk.’  - Monica McInerney, Foreword

We will then start a story together - who or what is behind the facade of these old buildings?  There will also be time to work individually. As always, Fighting Words writing tutors will be on hand to lend a hand.
