The Wallitary

Tim the Brick was having a normal day. 

He still hadn’t been put into a wall even though he asked everyone.

Tim got into military wall training, where he met Sergeant Fiona the Floor. 

Mr Chang’s Quest

St. Attracta’s, Second Class, County Wicklow, 29th January 2019

Once there was a man called Mr. Chang. He had a friend called Canning, who was a hurl with a face.

Mr. Chang is afraid of chickens, and lives in a tree house in China, in the middle of the tropical rainforest.

His greatest wish was to find a flying pig to ride on, but he had never seen a farm with a pig on it.

The Wonderful Wish of Emmie

Once upon a time there was a girl called Emmie. She lived in America.

One day Emmie went to the shop to buy some popcorn and ice-cream and strawberries because she wanted to watch a film.

After the shop, Emmie went to the park and suddenly she saw a snake. It was yellow, white and green with red eyes and a white tongue

Don’t Mess with Fred When He Has Your Bread

St Patricks NS, Diswellstown Road, 5th Class, 24th January 2019

There was a man called Sir Frederick the Amazing. The evil hamster Fred kept stealing his bread.

Sir Frederick the Amazing and Brick Dam Sonny the Brick, his best friend, went to track down Fred in Jelly Bean Land.

On the way, they were both really hungry and they wanted to eat their bread but they couldn’t because Fred had taken it.

Cheese Wars

Mrs. McCrankey was talking to Rodger, the cheese shark, how to turn the Pacific Ocean into Nacho cheese.  But then Rodger said:

“But what if my cousin Cheddar turns the sea into Cheddar cheese?”

“We could get an army of hot Nacho cheese sharks” replied Mrs. McCrankey.

Porky’s Getaway

Once upon a time there was a flying pig called Porky. He lived on a farm.

Porky really loved the farm, but he overheard the people there. They were really poor and they were going to eat him.

Porky had big dreams and when the others heard them, they laughed at him.

Pitchungus on the Loose

Once upon a time there was someone called Pitchungus who was a blue half rabbit, half bird. 

He had a best friend named Mr. Shark.

One day, big Pitchungus jumped out of the hole that Mr Bush had trapped him in.

Corny the Magical Llamacorn​

Once upon a time in Llamacorn Land there was an evil llamacorn named Chloe.

Chloe didn’t like another llamacorn called Corny, but all Corny did was try to play with her. 

When Corny tried to come over to play with Chloe, Chloe always pushed her away.

Adventures of Peadar the potato guy

Once upon a potato time there was a normal potato in a kitchen.  

He was on a plate about to be eaten when he fell off the plate and landed on the ground. 

Ronald McDonald who was the one who tried to eat him, shouted “Five Second Rule”, and bent down to pick him up.

The cranky old man

Once there was a cranky old man called Billy and whenever a football went into his garden he would pop it. He hated kids.

The kids threw rocks at his windows, pie at his face and nick-knocked his door and then ran away.

One day Billy was cooking his dinner: a piece of cheese was lying on the table and came alive. 

Chuck, Noah and the Black Plague

Chuck-the warrior, lives in a tent outside a castle.  His greatest wish is love, freedom and peace. He uses a bow and arrow and he is Welsh.

He is afraid of the ghost of the black plague, slugs and creepy crawlies. 

Noah is outside in a meadow in the sun. There is a beautiful forest in the distance. It reminds Noah of Sherwood Forest. 

What’s in my closet?

Nicholas, the ghost, had never gone out before.  He was the closet ghost! 

His friend Jessica had been bullied and he was so upset because she had come home from school crying.  

That day Nicholas decided to put a stop to it! 

Go Sue Yourself

St. Andrew’s NS, Bray, 6th Class, County Wicklow, 25th May, 2017  

Once there was a turtle. He lived on the Eiffel Tower.

It was just a normal day for Birthonomule the turtle, when he saw Achmed the eagle sitting beside him, trying to eat his left ear. 

Then Mr. Tortoise, who owned the Eiffel Tower, walked out of the elevator and said “Pass you shall not!”. 

A.4 Paper

​Wicklow Educate Together, 6th Class, County Wicklow, 24th May, 2017  

Frank the Paper Aeroplane was playing White Parade on an A4 sheet of paper in his Granny’s basement.  

The city had been bombed out. 

Frank and Oscar the ostrich, his best friend, were hiding.

Tale of The Flying Table

One day Jeff the eejit was face-down on his table eating cereal.

Suddenly the table smashed and he cried because it was his best friend. 

His mum brought him to the shop to buy a new table. 

The Magical Mushroom

Once upon a time there was Sean, the Magical Mushroom. 

He was hopping past his mother’s house when he fell into a bowl of curry!

He wished he could turn in to a giant mushroom so that he could fly out of the curry.
