The Pretty Butterfly

Pretty the butterfly was at the garden, and the garden was filled with grass and flowers. 

She was flying and playing with her brother, Riya, the bee. 

It became dark, and they got scared. 

Alex and The Flower

Alex the Tiger was going to the super market at night. 

While he was walking, he fell into a big hole because it was dark. 

Alex was scared so he phoned his best friend Ellen the Flower. 

Animal Friends

Asood the lion went to the woods. He was looking for food because he was hungry.

He saw his best friend Namour the tiger fighting a big, yellow snake.

Asood wanted to help and said, “Hey you two, stop fighting!”

Dublin City Learning Festival, 12th April 2019

In the year 2069, there was lots of destruction. Pollution filled the air. If you didn’t have an air supply, you’d die. 

There was a monkey who had a plan - accompanied by his best friend, Tracy the Robot.

But there was a problem.

Sam the Night Vision Dog

Once upon a time there was a dog called Sam. 

She was not an ordinary dog; she had a magical ability – night-vision! 

Sam was sitting on the wall of her house. Suddenly, she fell off when she saw her owner carrying a bag of chips.

The Unipandas’ Adventure

Once upon a time there were two  uni-pandas. One was called Unipanda, who had a best friend called Pandi.

Unipanda and Pandi went to visit a friend. On their next adventure, went to a temple to find a doughnut. 

They found a doughnut that was guarded by spiders.

Fury and the Little Troll

One day Blue Blue the blue troll was looking for his best friend Ginger the gingerbread man. 

Once he found Ginger they began to play around a little chocolate lake.

Suddenly they heard a scattering noise in the bushes, little did they know it was Blue Blue’s greatest fear – Fury the massive red and black dragon. 

Sketch Boys

Inchicore Model School, Inchicore​, 6th Class, 9th April 2019

Mr. Grumbles the Teddy Bear was in his car with Billy the Bin sketching from the Gardai. 

The Gardai were chasing them because they stole V-bucks.

Their devious plan was to buy whatever they wanted. 

The Lost Love Life

Single Pringle was in his house looking out the window at all the married couples, feeling very sad.

He was so sad that he felt like running out and grabbing and stealing one of the girls from a couple.

It was Valentine’s Day and Single Pringle decided to finally find a girl to settle down with.  He went outdoors and down to the shops. 

Oslo’s Greatest Escape

St Patrick’s Primary School, Lombard Street, Galway, 5th Class, 5 April 2019

Oslo the horse, the quick healer, is in her barn. It’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon. She is eating -  but not a lot of food. She doesn’t get much food from her owners.

Fred the 4 year old, Oslo’s best friend, sneaks through a hole in the barn, carrying some of the dinner that he just had.

Oslo neighs at Fred. Oslo and Fred have a telepathic connection. They can talk to each other in their heads.

The Story of Bob the Fly

Mercy Primary School, St Francis Street, Galway, 5th and 6th class, 5 April 2019

Bob the fly is in an old dusty attic. He is walking around talking to his friend Billy the bee.

Bob wants to get out of the attic but he can’t fly out.

He asks Billy, “ Can you lift me out?”

Beast Dragon and Super Tiger

One day Beast Dragon was flying high in the sky. He was waiting for his best friend Super Tiger. 

Finally he meets Super Tiger outside a sweet shop in Africa.

“I’m happy to see you” said Beast Dragon.

Becoming a President

Once there lived a pig called Jeff who had wings. And his best friend was Jerry the Farmer. 

Jeff’s greatest wish was to become President of Ireland. 

Sadly Jerry the Farmer was the poorest Farmer around. 

Toby, The Pig With Wings

One day, Toby the pig was eating in the farm. The night before, he was dreaming about being a flying block of cheese.

Toby noticed the grumpy farmer coming his way. 

The farmer stomped over and Toby ran as fast as he could. 

Gisha’s Wish

Gisha the cross-eyed pig lives in a big mansion. She is very popular at school and everybody knows her.

One day, Gisha’s best friend Millie the chubby pug went to the mansion. 

Gisha came to the door and said to Millie, “Wipe your dirty paws!” They walked into the mansion.

Fruit Friends

Once upon a time there was a banana called Bean.

He walked down the street and met Joey the Flying Strawberry.

The War of the Fruit

Once upon a time, I was a baby growing into a banana from a tree. 

When I was born my mother and father, who are both banana trees, called me Barry.

One day I saw a kiwi riding on a mole and carrying a genie lamp.

Captain Cactus

Once upon a time there was chubby plant.  His name was Captain Cactus and he had a big wish to one day own a cactus mobile.  

His greatest and most massive fear was germs.  Microbes.

His best friend said to him when they were in the underground building.

Food Friends

Once upon a time a chocolate chip was born and when he grew up he turned into a muffin. 

His name was Mr Muffin. He wanted a girlfriend but he thought he was too ugly to get one.

He really hoped he’d get one when he was an adult.

Sparkle’s Great Adventure

Once upon a time there lived a unicorn named Sparkle. She lived in a cave in the forest.

Sparkle wanted to have an adventure because she likes to travel.

She was walking in the forest and she found a medium-sized egg. She didn’t know what it was!

Mr. Cookie and Ice Pop save the day

Once upon a time there lived a cookie. Mr. Cookie lived in a cottage with all his family. 

One day Mr. Cookie fell into a pool of magic chocolate milk that made him into a superhero and gave him chocolate powers.

Suddenly humans came and ate his cookie friend and that’s how they discovered the humans. 

Max and Carter

Max wakes up in his bed in New York and Carter is waiting beside his bed for him to go to the zoo on a school tour.

Carter gets his imaginary car and drives Max to the zoo.

Max buckles his imaginary friend in with his imaginary seatbelt.

My name is Katie and I am a bottle of ketchup, my friend’s name is Jeff.

Then a few days later King Mayonnaise and his army came into the castle.

Once upon a time, Michael wanted to go to the bathroom, but there was a banana in the toilet.

He goes in to the bathroom and the banana attacks him.

It was Marc, the Shark, who was whirling around his new gaff!

Unicorn Land

Once there was a pug who loved rainbow things. She dreamt of having a rainbow house full of everything rainbow. 

The candyfloss dog was fighting with the snow owl over something silly. 

Then the pug made them stop fighting. Later, the candyfloss dog was being mean again for no reason.
