The Moustache Shaver

Once upon a time there was a man called Mr. Wiggle Moustache who lived in a cottage in the woods. 

He lived with his best friend Jeff the cool footballer.

He lived in a forest on top of a rainbow where there were pink fluffy unicorns dancing on it. 

Floppy the Octopus Boy

Once upon a time there was a boy called Floppy and he had eight octopus arms. 

Floppy the octopus boy was very floppy, big and unlucky. 

His mom was a mermaid and that’s where he got the hands on his octopus arms. 

The Fish Trip

Ever since I was a little fish, I’d always wanted to climb Mount Everest. 

But I was scared of heights. And also, I was too big to get out of the water. 

My best friend, Jeff the unicorn, came to help me get out of the water. He shrunk me to the size of a shrimp with his magical horn. He taught me how to fly as well.

Clyde’s Big Escape

Clyde the Kitten is in the street feeling lonely and wishing for a family. 

He sees someone eating a hot-dog so jumps up to get the hot-dog off him. 

The hot-dog turns out to be magical and it teleports Clyde to the Candy Kingdom.

Azure Jenkins and the Lost Stone

In a little cottage, in a really deep forest in Co. Wicklow, Alisia Crotchet came over and then she blew up the cottage. 

She blew up the house and then Paddy the Troll, from a different part of the forest, saw the smoke rising; he went over to see what had gone wrong. 

When he went over he saw a dead body lying on the floor. 

Football Phobia

Parke National School, Castlebar, Mayo, 5th and 6th Class, 22 November 2016

Jason the duck was in Duck Park training fields, once again trying to overcome his fear of footballs with his friend Percy Pegasus.

When Jason was four years old, he had fallen over a football and fractured his leg, which was very painful and left him bedridden for three months. 

It happened during the hottest summer ever recorded in Duckton Town.

Half way there

As Dave left the room he realised he had to go to the shop because he had run out of peanuts. 

When he was in the shop he saw a magazine with the moon on it and thought it was pretty. 

He realised he forgot his wallet and he had to go back home. 

The Colourful Adventure

Long ago in the Rainbow World, Michelle existed and wanted to meet Sanic the Hedgehog. 

Rainbow World only had llamas, unicorns and hedgehogs on it. 

Sanic the Hedgehog was the strongest and fastest of the hedgehogs.

The Nugget Thief

Once upon a time, there was a unicorn called Bob. He had a friend called Fluff the penguin. 

One day, while Bob was walking along, he looked up at the sky and saw that it was raining Domino’s cookies and snowing sprinkles.

The apples on the trees were golden nuggets.

Josie’s Journey

Once upon a time, Josie went for a stroll in the park, walking her dog. 

While she was strolling, she got a call from her sister Patsy’s doctor, saying she broke her leg. 

It was shocking that she broke her leg because she had a black belt in karate.

“Oh, Oh! Spagetti-o,” said Jay as he got out of bed to go to school. Jay heard fire sirens. 

He peeked out the window and saw smoke coming from the direction of his school; his school was on fire! 

He looked over and immediately thought to himself that a villain called Black Skull was burning down the school.

Once there was a boy called Dabby. He lived in an alien universe with lots of other crazy things like uni-llamas and li-gers. 

One day, Dabby was at home listening to a song on YouTube. 

He was dancing in front of his new mirror in his room and he invented a new move.

On the day Donald Trunk was getting crowned, as King of Treeland, he made a long long speech, and everyone fell asleep. 

He was talking about making an army of automated toilets to defeat Simon Carrot.

His leaves fell off in embarrassment when he realised no one was listening.

One night, Jovan broke out of the zoo and became a free gorilla. 

He grabbed hold of the bars and ripped them off until there was only two remaining, then ran off into the night looking for Paddy the monster potato. 

He wanted to kill the potato because he was mean: Paddy had been mean to him in the past.

The Journey to Internet Fame

One day, Mr. Beanbag was watching YouTube videos, and realised how popular they were. 

He wanted to do that himself. 

He was watching videos of his friend Fearsome AJ, and he wanted to meet up with him. 

Donald Truff v. Killary Tintin

Today Donald Truff became president of Alibanana.

He quit his job as an Oompa Loompa in the chocolate factory and went on the news in the capital city, Banana, to say what he wanted to do with Alibanana.  

He got lost on his way back home and fell into a hole.

The man was pulling him into the orphanage after seeing Philip steal some bread. 

Philip looked up at the great big building in front of him, and shuddered in fear.

Harambe’s Big Escape

Harambe the gorilla wakes up with clowns outside his cage, and he starts going crazy. 

Furry Murray is still asleep and does not realise that the clowns are outside. 

Harambe was so scared and angry that he starts throwing things around like crazy.

Voluptuous Jack and his best friend Trytineous Graham were in the middle of nowhere. 

Trytineous Graham said he needed to go to the toilet. 

On his way to the toilet, through the bushes, he heard a stick snap. 

When Stuff Goes A Bit Too Far

Franklyn the Funny Man was walking down the street heading for Sweetland Circus in San Francisco. 

He collected his car from the garage, got behind the wheel, started the engine.

All the people on the street ran for their lives.

Zappy the greatest flying zebra

Once upon a time there was a zebra called Zappy who lived in a galaxy nobody knew. Then she went to earth to go trick-or-treating. 

She went to someone’s house and they kicked her out because she wasn’t a human and they didn’t want a zebra in their house. 

She felt lonely and sad.

Sassy save the day

Sassy was a stray dog. He was a nice, kind dog. 

He lived under a bridge with his best friend, Benny.

As the spaceship crashed down to Earth, Molly the alien princess took one look at the unfamiliar landscape and knew that things would never be the same again.

Molly wanted to search for her squishy, fluffy friend the dinosaur before she started exploring. 

She rummaged through what was left of the spaceship, yelling his name.

There was a raccoon on a star. His name was James and he had lost his family.

James had a dream that he could fly so he tried it one day. He failed.
