St Fiachra's GNS, 2nd class
Croco the crocodile was at home in the swamp. He was lying down watching TV with Rocky, the talking sock. They had been friends for a long time. After a while, they decided to go for a swim in the river.
“You know I’m a magic sock Croco?” said Rocky.
“I didn’t know that,” said Croco.
“I can grant you a wish,” Rocky told him.
“Thanks a lot, that sounds fantastic!” said Croco.
After their swim Croco went home and saw his mother. She was very cross.
“Go to bed Croco!” she said.
“But I haven’t had my dinner,” said Croco.
“Who cares about your dinner?” said his mother.
Croco went to bed but then he decided to climb out the window. He had a plan! He went to Rocky’s house, which is a giant boot. He rang Rocky on his mobile phone.
“Slide out the window Rocky. I know what my wish is!” Croco told Rocky.
Rocky slid out the window and they went for a walk and sat down behind a big tree.
“Tell me what your wish is Croco,” said Rocky.
“I would like to meet a devil,”
Croco said.
“Why?” asked Rocky.
“To scare my mother!” said Croco.
