Hello, my name is George. I live in the wild. Today, while I was out eating leaves, I saw hunters try to take my mother.
My brothers, sisters and I were worried.
We tried to help. We saved our mother and we ran away.
Then I saw my best friend, Fred the Fly.
“I need help, Fred,” I said.
“For what?” replied Fred.
“There are hunters everywhere. Can you get us to a safe place?” I asked him.
“I can’t help, I’m just a fly,” said Fred.
“But you can spy on them,” I pointed out.
Fred went off to spy on the hunters. When he came back, he told us that the hunters planned to capture us and take us to the zoo. I was terrified.

When I woke up, I realised I had been separated from my family. I opened my eyes to a jungle. I got up to search for my family but then I saw big metal bars in front of me and lots of people staring at me.
A big, scary man with a beard, and braces on his teeth, came into the enclosure and placed leaves on the ground.
“COME HERE!” he shouted.
I was terrified. I didn’t know what to do. I thought he wanted me to dance so I did. The people started to laugh.
The man stared at me in a strange way...
